Childhood Fears Silkscreen Installation

This print was created in response to the first half of the semester of Maryanne Friel's Changing Fabric Surfaces class. It explores the repetition of motif in a space, and how a fabric can change an environment. I created a mobil of stuffed forms, upholstered doors within the space, and created a curtain that operates through a pull-y system. The repetition of mysterious forms creates an environment that seems familiar but unplaceable and uncomfortable while also evocative of childhood.
